Welcome to our Sacramental Preparation
Readiness program (SPRP)
A word from Father Janowski ...
I am both humbled and grateful that you have chosen to take this walk with us.
The purpose of our program is to prepare young Catholics to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist.
It is a big undertaking, but we are here to support and guide you every step of the way.
Our approach to the Study of the Sacraments is this:
Make it engaging and simple.
Our program allows you and your children to work toward becoming proficient at Catholic themes and prayers at your own pace.
For now, sit back, review the materials, breathe, and say a prayer together.
This will be a sacred moment for you and your children to experience the gifts of God’s love and mercy in a very personal, memorable way. We are blessed to accompany you on this faith-filled journey.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Michael Janowski
Let's get started
The All Saints Catholic Community provides all the materials students need to complete their preparation. Sacramental Prep Packets and books are handed out during the fall registration and information meeting. We provide three leveled packets. If you are registering for SPRP after fall registration, please call our Faith Formation Director Jen Geiger at 231-775-2471 to schedule a short overview meeting.

Additional copies of the leveled packets are located here.
One question: Why is my child preparing for Confirmation at such an early age?
Great question. Children in the Diocese of Gaylord receive the Sacraments of Initiation according to the Restored Order. This means children receive the Sacrament of Confirmation before the Sacrament of First Eucharist, usually within the same Mass. Reception of these Sacraments, along with the Sacrament of Reconciliation, take place after the age of reason, generally, after a child turns seven years old.
